Cancellation Policy

If a customer cancels their booking less than 48 hours before the scheduled reservation, The MUDDY TOAD reserves the right to charge £10 per head for the cancelled booking.

In the case of a ‘no show’ where customers fail to turn up for their scheduled booking without prior notice, The MUDDY TOAD reserves the right to charge £10 per head.

All cancellation fees are non-refundable

Deposits for Large Bookings

For bookings of a table sizes exceeding 7 guests, The MUDDY TOAD may request a deposit of £10 per person to secure the reservation.

The deposit amount will be deducted from the final bill when dining at The MUDDY TOAD.

If a booking of a table size exceeding 7 guests is cancelled with more than 48 hours notice, The MUDDY TOAD will refund the deposit.

If a booking of a table size exceeding 7 guests is cancelled without giving notice more than 48 hours before the scheduled booking, The MUDDY TOAD reserves the right to retain the deposit.

Changes to Bookings

Customers may request changes to their booking by contacting The MUDDY TOAD directly.

The MUDDY TOAD will always try to accommodate booking changes subject to table availability and any additional terms and conditions that may apply.

General Terms

The MUDDY TOAD reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking made through the Booking System without providing any reason or notice.

Customers must ensure their booking details are accurate and provide all necessary information requested during the booking process.

The MUDDY TOAD may not reasonably fulfil all bookings made through the Booking System, subject to circumstances beyond its control, such as unforeseen closure or force majeure events.

Special offers and set menus will not be available on bank holidays. Unless specifically advertised as doing so. The MUDDY TOAD reserves, the right to withdraw, cancel or not fulfil a special offer at any time and without notice

The MUDDY TOAD reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publicising.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By using The MUDDY TOAD's Online Booking System, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Christmas Day Cancellation Policy

Christmas day deposits/all payments towards a booking are non-refundable. If a customer cancels their booking before the scheduled reservation, The MUDDY TOAD reserves the right to retain any payments made up to the cancellation date.

In case of a ‘no-show’ where customers fail to turn up for their scheduled booking, The MUDDY TOAD reserves the right to retain all payments made up to the reservation date.

Changes to Christmas bookings

If a customer reduces the number of guests on their booking, the £50 booking deposit per person (for the number of reduced guests) will be non-refundable. 

Final payments

The outstanding balance is required by Thursday 7th December. If the outstanding balance isn’t received by this date (7th December) then The MUDDY TOAD reserves the right to cancel your booking.

If you would like to bring your own cake as a dessert as pert of a celebration we would be happy to accommodate you, we charge a flat fee of £25.

We will prepare and present the cake to the table and will also provide plates, cutlery, and napkins for you to enjoy the cake.
